Wagon wheel

Wagon wheel is a killer. It is shorter by 3 tenths of mile but goes straight to the top. 3 very small campsites. Crystal clear water. No one else on the trail. I know why. I went up and back in 3.5 hrs.

Portland temple

This was the highlight of our vacation. Lori and I will always remember the time we were in the temple together. Without question it is the ultimate date.

We had a great place to camp! Mt Rainier is only 1:45 hr away

9500 more ft to the summit of Mount Rainer.

Almost all of the ascent is on glaciers. We are on the end of the nisqually glacier. Interesting to walk ok.
