The sacred grove

I don't know how to describe any of this experience. Words cannot do it. It is a very incredible feeing to experience . Walking into the grove was like walking into the temple. I becomes clear that this was where the Father and His Son visited the boy Joseph. The spirit of that event lingers there. It is quiet, you can hear birds. Then looking at the large trees it was moving that they witnessed this event. It is a life changing experience.

Our trip to palmyra

We saw a replica of Joseph Smiths home. It was amazing. We saw the upstairs where the angel Moroni visited Joseph . Joseph was not alone, the room was small and amazing he was the only one witnessing this vision

Trip to New York

We had a great time visiting Jason and family. The highlight was seeing them. They are doing so well. Jill is doing photography, Jason loves his job with knolls nuclear propulsion laboratories. He has done so much work to his home. He has replaced the dry wall in much of his home. Replaced the floor put a new garage door on. I got tears in my eyes remembering doing these things together when we were home raising Jason. My boy grew up and I know he will teach his boys how to work. We went to New York saw the World Trade Center . Subways 3 hr Amtrak train ride to New York City. Palmyra to see Joseph's home sacred grove pageant. It was so much fun. We worked on Jason's garage bracing the rafters stabilizing walls. The

mirrical   of it all was realizing that all our kids are happy. Active in the church married in the temple. Here are a few of our moments caught on my I phone

Reesa and Jeff aug 2013

We had an incredibly fun time this past week with Reesa and Jeff. We did so many fun things! We went to the temple farmers market Reesa MADI and Jeff went to Boston harbor kayaking. That was Madison's favorite. We watched fish all 5 of us on the bed. We went to a mariners game walked around the lake. We went to Italian. Mt ranier was an adventure. Nicole, Dave and Hailey joined us. We ate salmon foil dinners with asparagus onions cauliflower brussell sprouts olive oil and seasoning. We had pancakes with blueberries. Blueberry muffins cooked in the inside of an orange. Cinnamon rolls wrapped around a stick and cooked on the most incredible incredible hand carved sticks in the world. Nicole brought cookie dough we cooked in a pan. As you can see we ate well. We sat around the fire and enjoyed being together. We hiked to the top of pinnacle peak it was fun! The next day day we hiked the skyline high trail. Took lots of pictures. It was great fun. The night before we came home we had a massive rain storm thunder lightening hail. The tent goodmans and Lori and I stated in leaked really really bad we had to go to the truck. Dave's family went home. What and adventure. One I will never forget. We also had a great dance party made possible by hailey . She went to alot of work!
